The idea of a “lucky” coin comes up in cultures across the world and throughout history. Created with collected coins from around the world, a softly built up scratch finish and textured prongs give these charms a vintage feel and easy wearing vibe.

This 1969 Mexican 50 centavos coin features the Mexican national emblem, which depicts an eagle perched atop a prickly pear cactus devouring a rattlesnake. The back of the coin has a portrait of King Cuauhtemoc (meaning “one who has descended like an eagle”), the last Aztec Emperor who fought against the Spanish conquistadors in the early 1500s.

Eagles symbolize power, freedom, courage, and independence.

Sterling Silver

Sterling silver is an alloy of 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. Since pure silver is a very soft metal, the addition of a small amount of copper alloy gives the metal enough hardness to retain its shape over years of wear.
